Norine Alva Cronin, 90, a resident of Georgetown, died at her home on August 5, 2023.
Born in Brooklyn, New York. Norine was educated in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Norine was a 1950 graduate of Melrose High School and went on to receive her bachelor’s at Smith College in North Hampton, Massachusetts. Norine worked as a Registrar at the Museum of Science for 33 years until her retirement.
The daughter of the late Frank J. and Marie (Jordan) Cronin, family members include many cousins.
Family and friends may attend a funeral mass on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, MA, 01841. Her burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, 130 North Lowell Street, Methuen, MA.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. 01841.
