Nina C. Cruz's Obituary
Nina C. Cruz, 75, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Sanchez , Dominican Republic, Nina was educated in the Dominican Republic and came to Lawrence in 1974. She had worked in secretarial positions
at the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, the Holy Family Hospital as well as the Gas Company. Nina was very active in the community. She was very well liked and was always there to help.
Nina is survived by her husband of 35 years William Cruz and is also survived by her four children: Rafael Marte, Jose Marte, Ricky Marte and Amanda Marte-Cruz.
She is also survived by six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and her sisters: Angela Arendt, Elba Morency, and Bienvenida Bauer as well as her brothers Luis Nina and Rigoberto Nina. Nina was predeceased by her son Mario Marte and her brother Fidel Nina.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence, MA.
