I remember me and my sister were at a friends house and it was the blizzard of 78... we had to walk home in the thick of it ..it was all downhill on Forest st... we were cold and scared... in the distance we saw someone walking towards us, the wind was whipping and visibility was bad.. that person looked so scary...they had a snorkel coat on...the wind was whistling.. they were yelling something , but we couldn't hear them...as we got closer... to our surprise...IT WAS OUR MOM !!
i was so happy and felt safe and so much love...being a mom now i know...You don't sit and wait you go get your babies..my mom was always always always there for me..even through all my mistakes and poor decisions..she was there... and she loved me....and when i needed her , she was there...❤️🥹

My Dear Mama, the day you taught me to make red valentines out of construction paper and paper doilies was a treat for a 6 year old; we both loved arts and crafts and that was the beginning of many years of artsy fun.

My deepest sympathies to the Picone family. Nancy and I go back to the 7th grade at the Stephen Barker School where we met. We remained friends through our high school days in Methuen. After high school we would always attend the reunions together and in later years we would meet at Ed Claus’ for yearly reunions. I will miss her friendship and her fun loving personality.
May she rest in peace.

Teaching me to float and swim on Forest St, cooking, crafting, searching for sand dollars at the beach, Drum Corp Shows, Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, Saratoga Springs, all holidays, school events, reading books, sweating to the oldies and power walks, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Brenda Lee on vinyl, blueberry picking, marching in parades, we did all the things and enjoyed life together! Never goodbye, but see you soon...I picture you dancing on streets of gold now. Love you with all my heart!
