Muriel E. (Cyr) Valliere's Obituary
Muriel E. (Cyr) Valliere, 96, of Peabody, Massachusetts formerly of Lawrence passed away on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 at the Brooksby Village in Peabody, Massachusetts.
Muriel was born in Lawrence on November 27, 1921, daughter to the late Florent and Mathilda (St. Pierre) Cyr. She was educated in Saint Rita’s Elementary School and Saint Rita’s High School. Muriel worked in the Arlington Mills as a mender and later worked at the Curtain Shop in Andover, Massachusetts. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed the church fairs, helping people and crafting. Muriel was also a member of the card group from the church and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was the wife of the late Clarence L. Valliere
Muriel’s family members include her daughter June M. Valliere of Wayland, MA and her son Edward J. Valliere and his wife Eileen of Hampstead, NH.
She has 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many many nieces and nephews.
Muriel is survived by her sister Claire Zimmer of Florida.
She is the mother of the late Thomas Valliere
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Ma. Her funeral mass will be celebrated following the wake at Saint Mary’s Mausoleum in Lawrence, at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place following the mass in the cemetery.
