Mrs. Marie (Lepre) Sullivan's Obituary
Mrs. Marie (Lepre) Sullivan, 98, a resident of Methuen, MA., passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, MA., Mrs. Sullivan was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She went on to get her education in Nursing and had worked as a Nurses Aid at various facilities in the Boston area. Mrs. Sullivan then went on to work for I.T.T. Semiconductors in Lawrence from which she retired. She had formerly attended St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence and was an avid walker. The widow of Augustine J. Sullivan, members of Mrs. Sullivan's family include: 3 children: Zona Sullivan of Lawrence, MA., Augustine Sullivan of Methuen, MA., and Michael Sullivan and his wife Diane of New York. she is also survived by a sister: Sadie Roskowicz of Methuen, MA. as well as 3 grandchildren: Kristin Vena, Elizabeth and Erin Sullivan, 2 great grandchildren: Isabella and Liam Vena, and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, also in Lawrence.
