Dear Rita and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Rolands passing. We recently had a reunion of sorts with some of the guys who used to hang around the Kof C and Rolands name seemed to come up in every story that was told. He was a good friend to all of us.I can see his smile and hear his impish little laugh as He and Frank Covey are sitting down having a cold beer looking down on the rest of us. God bless you Roland.
I met Roland in Market Basket on Haverhill St many years ago... I am a cashier there and he used to come in every day and would always go out of his way to come and see me and say hello... He was a wonderful man and I will never forget his smilling face.... I want to send my sympathy to all his family... I would have gone to the wake, but I really never knew his last name.... Please accept my coldences....
