Mildred C. (Smith) Lynch's Obituary
Mildred C. (Smith) Lynch, 92, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, December 11th, 2024 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in Lawrence on January 4th, 1932, daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Doyle) Smith. Mildred attended Saint Rita’s Grammar school and was a 1949 graduate of Saint Mary’s High School. She later attended McIntosh Business School in Lawrence.
Mildred worked for several years at the Internal Revenue Service Tax Office in Andover, Massachusetts. She was a parishioner of Saint Patrick’s Church and a member of The Saint Patrick’s Sodality for many years.
Married for 65 years, wife of the late Bernard J. Lynch, who passed in 2020.
She is survived by her children Kathy, Maureen Moloney and husband Patrick, Sharon Huse and husband Michael, Connie Stella and husband Bruce, and son Pat Lynch.
Her four grandchildren Jessica Camuso and husband Michael, Shannon Rozamus and husband Shane, Kelly Moloney and Abbie Huse and three great grandchildren Kieran, Juliette and Rowan. As well as brother-in-law Raymond Lynch and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the mother of the late Daniel Lynch and sister to the late Marion Augevich, Joseph Smith and Raymond Smith.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Monday, December 16th, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA.
