Michael Anthony Russo III's Obituary
Michael Anthony Russo III, also known as Tony, Mike, 42 a resident of Haverhill Mass.
Son of the late Michael Christopher (Anthony) Russo Jr. and Joan Elizabeth (Vaitiskis) Russo. He lived in Haverhill most of his life. Had lived in Atkinson, NH and Salem, NH for a short period of time. Born August 11, 1978 in Lawrence Mass. Died May 12,2021 at Mass General Hospital from Covid. He was a beloved brother, father, fiance (he didn’t make it to the wedding which was planned for next year.) uncle, nephew, cousin, friend. He graduated from Haverhill high school class of 1996 and he studied Criminal Justice at Northern Essex Community College. Due to his underlying health conditions he was unable to pursue his passion of serving and protecting the public.
In his lifetime he worked at Market Basket in Haverhill, Ma., Naults Windham Honda in Windham, NH., Supervalu in Andover, Ma., Zwicker and Associates Law Firm in Andover, Ma., and of course he was a fulltime dad.
In his down time Tony enjoyed watching sports like Nascar, football and baseball, going to concerts and listening to music. (The backstage passes to concerts weren't bad either.) He enjoyed driving to the beach, going to fairs and amusement parks with his family. Anything he could do to spend time with the ones he loved. Tony thoroughly enjoyed the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. He didn't even mind plowing or driving in the snow!
He is survived by a loving Fiance Rebecca Bakanosky, two beautiful daughters Lilly Rose Russo, 12 and Hannah Russo, 15. Tony is also survived by his sister Tara Russo (formerly Brown) of Dover, NH and her two children Everett Scot Brown Jr. and Avalon Raine Brown of Epping NH, Aunt Claire Eyssi (Godmother) of Salem NH, Aunt Karen Vaitiskis of Arlington, VA. and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
