Michael James Plourde's Obituary
Michael James Plourde, 30, of Plaistow, New Hampshire, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 in his home at his beloved wife's side. Michael was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 21, 1981, son of Debra (Hendry) Plourde and Robert G. Plourde. He was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, class of 2000; and additionally attended Pinkerton Academy Electrical program, Alvirne Vocational, Whittier Regional Technical Schools, and several State of NH Department of Labor Apprenticeship programs from 1999 to 2003. Michael became a proud electrician that took great pride with all his jobs while working over the past twelve years alongside and assisting his father in running the family businesses, Plourde Electrical Contractors and Associates and New England Life and Safety. Michael was married to his childhood sweetheart, Jessica Ann (Seeley) Plourde on October 1, 2011 in Nahant, Massachusetts. Mike was the greatest husband, son, brother, and friend anyone could ask for. He would do anything for the people he loved. He would even give you the shirt off his back. Mike lived his life to the fullest, danced like no one was watching, sang like no one cared, and loved like he was never hurt. Michael trusted everyone and failed no one. He was an avid sports fan who loved all New England's sports teams. The speakers in his car often announced his arrival, but it was the sound of his voice that was always such sweet music to our ears. If the day was nice and sunny, Michael displayed his sense of humor to present reasons for skipping work and heading to the golf course, two of his favorite things. Michael's love for his father and his passion for living life to the fullest would often find him flying alongside his father in their helicopters discovering sites beyond belief. He is survived by his wife Jessica (Seeley) Plourde of Plaistow; his mother Debra A. Plourde, his father Robert G. Plourde, and his sister Nicole M. Plourde, all of East Hampstead; his maternal grandfather, Robert J. Hendry of Salem, NH; his paternal grandparents Josephine and Walter Peek of Rye, NH; his mother and father in-law Cathy and David Seeley, grandparents Gerald and Beverly O'Donnell, and Carolyn Seeley; sister-in-law Melissa Seeley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as countless friends and co-workers who completely adored Mike and his always-present loving smile. Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Germaine (Gerry) Hendry, of Salem, NH and will be laid to rest alongside her in Saint Mary's Mausoleum. Michael was the most loving, caring, kindest, sweetest, and generous man we have ever known. We will miss him more than our words or actions can ever express. We love you Mike and always will. Rest in Peace. Visiting hours will be held at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts on Friday July 6, 2012, from the hours of 4:00 to 8:30 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Patrick's Parish, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. The funeral procession will follow for Michael's final resting place at Saint Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
