Maurice W. Lagasse's Obituary
Maurice W. Lagasse, a resident of Methuen and formerly a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, after a long illness.
Born in Lowell on July 29, 1931 he was the son of Wilfrid and Yvonne (Lafortune) Lagasse.
Mr. Lagasse proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and the Lowell American Legion. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Machine Operator at H.E. Fletcher Company in Westford, MA.
He was the loving husband of 62 years to Betty (Ciesla) Lagasse.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law Denise M. Mundry and her husband Robert and Grandson Steven C. Lane all of Methuen, MA.
A sister-in-law Lorraine Lagasse of Tyngsboro, MA and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Edmond Lagasse and his brother Leo Lagasse and his wife Pauline.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Theresa Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA.
