Mary Louise Ruffen's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Louise (Roberge) Ruffen, 88, of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021 at the Salem Haven Nursing Home.
Born in Lawrence on December 10th, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ella (Sullivan) Roberge. Mary Louise was educated in the Local Schools and had various jobs; with John Hancock, Bridal Shops, and her favorite job was taking care of her family. She was an attendant of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH.
She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Ruffen, Sr. who passed in 2008
Mary Louise was the youngest of 10 siblings.
Her children: Susan M. Desmet and her husband Thomas of Wells, ME.
Thomas F. Ruffen, Jr. and his wife Karen of Salem, NH.
David J. Ruffen and his wife Cheryl of Salem, NH. and
Mary-Jo Driggers and her husband Floyd of Salem, NH.
Her grandchildren: Kathleen Michaud and her husband Brandon, Matthew Rhoades, Kyle Ruffen, Andrew Ruffen, Michael St. Laurent, Trevor Ruffen and Gabrielle Driggers.
Her Great Grandchildren: Jack and Hattie. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Thursday,
December 9th, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen
Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 10th, 2021
at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Mary and Joseph Parish at Mary Queen of Peace
Church, 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in the
Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
