Mary Elizabeth Pelczar's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Pelczar, 71, of Londonderry, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, Massachusetts, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on March 27, 1954, Mary was educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
Mary spent many years working in a bakery, where she created beautiful wedding cakes and took great pride in her craft. She later continued her career in customer service at Star Market and later at Edgewood Retirement, where her kindness and warm personality touched the lives of everyone she met. After retiring, Mary found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her three daughters, Laura Cozzone of Methuen, MA, Christina Cozzone of Gloucester, MA, and Mary Kight and her husband James Kight of Chester, NH; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers James Cook and his wife Anne Cook of Salem, NH, and John Cook and his wife Odette Cook of Salem, NH.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thaddeus Pelczar of Lawrence, MA, and her brothers Thomas Cook and Michael Cook.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at High Pointe House in Haverhill for their exceptional care, comfort, and compassion.
