Mary K. Neville's Obituary
Mary K. (Roche) Neville, 100, a resident of Andover, MA, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover with her loving family at her side.
Born in North Andover, Mary’s Catholic faith and her family always came first. She was previously active in St. Augustine’s Parish in Andover and participated in their Religious education special needs program for many years where she made many lifelong loyal friends. Mary was also a member of the Third order of St. Francis and the Ladies of Merrimack. Mary had been employed at Lawrence Wholesale Drug and Marshall MacClennan in Boston as an executive assistant for many years.
The daughter of the late James D. and Bridget (Hurley) Roche, Mary was widowed from her beloved husband Walter who died in 2004. Members of her family include her niece Ellie Fishbein and her husband Robert with whom she made her home, and was cherished by many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Roche of North Andover, MA. Mary was predeceased by her 7 siblings Anna Scannell, Philip Roche, James Roche, John Roche, David Roche, Eleanor Montgomery and Rita Sullivan. The family wishes to thank the Prescott House for their exceptional compassionate care.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated by her nephew Monsignor Thomas Sullivan on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. in St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Waverly Rd. also in North Andover. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday morning prior to the funeral mass from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover, MA.
