Mary A. (Pelligrino) McGovern, 88, a resident of Lawrence, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, with her loving son by her side.
She was born in Lawrence on April 17, 1932 to Albert and Mary (Griffin) Pelligrino. Mary was educated in local schools and a Graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence. She worked for many years with her husband Charles running Powersweeping Contractors in Lawrence.
She is the wife of the late Charles B. McGovern and leaves her son: Brian C. McGovern of Lawrence.
Friends may call on Monday, August 19, 2019 from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 122 Amesbury St. Lawrence, MA, 01841. Her funeral mass will follow at St. Patrick Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. At 11:00AM on Monday, August 19, 2019. Burial services will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA, 01841.
