Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Fennell) Whittaker, 91, a resident North Andover, MA., passed away on Monday, December 10th, 2007 at the Meadows in North Andover. Born in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Mrs. Whittaker was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in Saratoga as well as Skidmore College also in Saratoga. Mrs. Whittaker was involved in many of her children's activities as they grew up. She had a passion for fine needle work, and was very well read in U.S. History. Family meant everything to her. The wife of the late Joseph A. Whittaker, family members include: children: Mrs. Una Kathleen Miller wife of John Miller of Tucson, AZ. Mrs. Jane A. Austin wife of Daniel Austin of Barrington, RI. Mrs. Mary J. Bower wife of Chris Bower of Andover, MA. Mrs. Patricia A. Belknap wife of Mark Belknap of Ashland, WI. Mr. J. Dermot Whittaker husband of Heather Whittaker of Bedford, MA. sister: Jane Donovan of Queensbury, N.Y. Grandchildren: Julie Miller, Liam Austin, James Austin, Scott Bower, Kendra Bower, Paul Belknap and Daniel Belknap Mrs. Whittaker was also the grandmother of the late Katie Austin and Terry Miller. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 17th, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover, MA.
