Mary Cecilia Shine's Obituary
Mary Cecilia Shine, 95, a life long resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, died at the Lawrence General Hospital, on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2007. She was born and educated in Lawrence, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1929. She had worked for the Boston and Maine Railroad as a Rate Clerk for 44 years until her retirement in 1973. She was a member of the Lawrence Ladies Hibernians as well as the St. Claire League of Women and a Parishioner of St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, MA. Miss. Shine was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt. She is survived by 7 nieces and nephews and their families. She was the daughter of Patrick Daniel Shine and Catherine Fox. She was predeceased by brothers: Daniel, James, Dennis V. and Patrick J. Shine. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 9:00AM in St. Patrick Church in Lawrence, MA. A burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover, MA.
