Mario A. Verolla's Obituary
Mario A. “Snuggie” Verolla, 95, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his residence. Born in Lawrence, Mario was educated in the Lawrence Schools and went on to serve in the United States Navy during World War II. He had worked for many yeas as a laborer in the Construction Workers Union for various companies. Prior to that he had worked for K and L Shoes. Mario loved watching television and was a huge Game of Thrones fan. He loved doing crossword puzzles as well as being with his family, especially his great grandchildren.
Mario is survived by his daughter Maria Rabito and her husband Robert of Lawrence, MA, her sons Mario Verolla and his wife Serena of Windham, NH and Kenneth Verolla of Salem, NH. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
