Dear Holly, Karla, Frank, and Family: Marianne and I became best friends in our freshman year at LHS and, as it turned out, many years later she became by daughter's first grade teacher at Pleasant Valley School. Marianne was not only a good friend that could always be counted on, but was a mentor for my daughter, Kerri. She taught her well, as I am sure she taught her own daughters. This evening, as the sun set over Swan Valley, Idaho, I noticed a new "sparkling star" in the sky. It's name is "Marianne". I am sorry I could not be there for all of you at this time, however, when the sun sets here in the Mountains of Idaho, that "bright sparkling star" will be a reminder that Marianne is looking down on all of us. So, on a clear night, wherever you may be, look up into the night sky and you too will see that "bright sparkling star" and know that Marianne is watching over all of you. I could write pages about my wonderful friend, to make you smile, but I am sure that each of you have your own special memories to carry you through this difficult time and in the days to come. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you and that Marianne has found peace in the heavans above. Sincerely, Joyce (Gioseffi) Williams Swan Valley, Idaho
