All my love and condolences to the Brien family.
I have known Marge for many years as Arthur's helpmate and love. The two of them were inspiring! They were always volunteering to make the world a better place and live out their Christian values. My happiest memory of Marge was the way she made a bee-line to the kitchen sink after our Merrimack Valley People for Peace potluck dinners. When she saw a need, she was right there. Prayers of gratitude for her generous soul. Prayers of comfort for all those who mourn her loss. Arthur, remember all the hugs we have shared? Please take care of yourself. I hope we can see each other again soon.

With all those wonderful kids, grandkids and great-grans you might think Marge and Arthur would have had enough birthdays to remember each year. Somehow, though, I made it into their file and smiled each year as Marguerite's lovely, familiar handwriting arrived in the mail.
I was always so happy to sit with the Briens at daily Masses and probably never refused the inevitable breakfast invitations that followed. I will lovingly remember Marge's warmth and humor.
I will continue to keep all who loved her in my prayers and pray to Ste. Marguerite of Tower Hill for our consolation.

To Arthur & Family
I am so very sorry to hear of Marge’s passing. It has been over 4 decades since we became acquainted at St Augustine’s on Tower Hill. Arthur, you & Marge have been a true inspiration to me in every way for over 40 years, both as a couple and as individuals. Getting hugs from the two of you after 4 o’clock Mass made me feel complete.
I will miss Marge for countless reasons, but simply put...Our Loss is Heaven’s gain.
God Bless Her soul!
You are all in my thoughts & prayers.
Hugs Karen

We at Bread and Roses are so very sorry to hear of Marge’s passing and want to extend our condolences to Arthur and the family. Marge and Arthur were in on the preparation and launch of Bread and Roses back in 1980. They volunteered regularly for the evening meal service for many years and supported our work in so many ways. Marge ran the kitchen, efficiently organizing the meal service, just as she did her own large family, and Arthur washed dishes all evening. It was a great pleasure to work with them and their fellow volunteers looked forward to the fun and community of joining with them. Arthur was also part of the volunteer crew that completely gutted and remodeled our building at 58 Newbury St, spending countless Saturday hours with us. Marge was a wonderful, caring and generous person, devoted to improving the lives of our community. Her loss touches us all and our thoughts are with the Brien Family.

Marguerite, or (Marge-as I called her) will always be my dearest and only sister
and my VERY BEST FRIEND ! As a little girl, she was my 2nd mom, then she
became my best listener, my loyal supporter, my strong encourager,my teacher
of so very very much. She taught me more than there is space for me
to share ! She was my companion thoughout our lives. We shared much laughter, concerns, shopping sprees, family celebrations and just simply SISTER time.
I will keep her close to my heart daily and always. I know my nieces and nephews,
and her beloved husband will miss her terribly but her strength and love will remain
with each of them every single day. Be at peace, dear Sis.
