Margaret M. Verville's Obituary
Peggy (Solomon) Verville, 73, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13th at her home surrounded by her family.
A lifelong Lawrence resident and beloved daughter of the late Jane M Thompson she graduated from Lawrence High School and was employed at the Internal Revenue Services in Andover for over 20 years. Peg enjoyed camping at Salisbury Beach Reservation for many years starting when her children were young; some of the happiest memories for them as a family.
Peggy was predeceased by her devoted husband of 54 years, Thomas Verville, who passed away in 2017. In their retirement they enjoyed long rides and family gatherings. They lived their lives with lots of love, laughter, dignity and respect.
Peggy is survived by her dedicated children Kim Linehan and her husband Paul of Gilbert, Arizona, Heidi Monahan and her husband Michael of Amesbury, Mark Verville and his wife Peggy of North Andover who will miss her beautiful smile, quick wit and wonderful meals.
Her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, PJ, Ben and Samantha Linehan and her husband CJ Cowley, Matthew Monahan, Alex, Abbi and Michael Verville who all have such wonderful loving memories of their Nana. Being an avid animal lover it is also fitting that her poodle Ebony Rose be mentioned. Ebony brought joy and comfort to Ma for the past 13 years.
Peggy also leaves two cousins who she considered to be siblings, David Courtney and his wife Karen and Nancy Fontaine and her husband Randy all of Haverhill along with nephews and nieces and extended family, whom she loved dearly.
At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. Donations can be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
