Margaret "Peggy" Susan Ochs' Obituary
Margaret "Peggy" Susan (Cotter) Ochs, 64 of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 31st, 2012 at her home. Peggy was born on March 20th, 1947 in North Andover, Massachusetts to the late James and Helen (Donovan) Cotter. She was raised and educated in North Andover and graduated from Saint Mary High School in Lawrence, MA, Lowell State College and Emporia State in Kansas. She retired as librarian for the Newton Public Schools and has worked as the librarian at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School for over 7 years. Peggy was a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, dancing and visiting the beach. she is survived by Her daughter, Maureen Alice Ochs Her son: Edward James Ochs Her granddaughter: Ava Susan Payne Her sister: Mary DiFilippo and her husband Gabriel of North Andover, MA. Her brothers: Thomas Cotter and his wife Beverly of Jacksonville, FL and J. Michael Cotter of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael Church in North Andover, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to meet directly at the Church. Her burial will follow at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.
