Obituary Margaret A. Hazeldine (Ikels, Conomacos) 5/26/1933 ? 5/8/2016 Margaret (Peggy) A. Hazeldine, of 44 Millville St., Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on Mother?s Day, May 8, 2016, surrounded by family and friends, at age 82. Margaret was the daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Ikels of Cambridge, MA. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Wife, and Friend she is survived by her three children and their families: son Thomas Conomacos and wife Laurie and grandson Drew Kennedy of Londonderry, NH, and grandchildren Tom Conomacos III and wife Katelyn and great grandson Cameron of Hudson, NH., Kelly Bozetarnik and husband Josh of San Diego, CA, Noelle Laferriere and husband Kyle and great granddaughter Aubree of San Diego CA, Joe Conomacos and wife Courtney and great granddaughters Arianna, Bella, and Chloe of Hooksett, NH; son Stephen D. Conomacos and wife Yong Mi of Laurel, Maryland, and grandchildren Suna Conomacos and great granddaughter Kristen, Cody Conomacos and wife Sarah and great granddaughter Hye-jin of Hawaii, and Eliza Conomacos of San Angelo, TX; daughter Cindy (Conomacos) George and partner Marc McInnis of Salem, NH, and grandchildren Chris George and wife Val of Los Angeles CA, and Sarah George of Somerville, MA. Also her sisters Marlene (Ikels) Milner of Medford, MA, Patsy (Ikels) Cotter of Kingston NH, Dorothy Ikels and husband Joe of Gulfport, FL, and brother Richard Ikels of Cambridge, MA, and ten nieces and nephews and their families, numerous cousins and many dear friends. Peggy was first married to Tom Conomacos Sr. of Cambridge, MA for twenty-three years, and later married Gerry Hazeldine, of Foxborough, MA for 15 years until Gerry?s untimely passing. Peggy, as did her father Richard Ikels of Cambridge before her, made an anatomical gift of her body to Harvard Medical School for research and teaching. Her main interests in life were her family and friends. Known for her loving manner, generous heart, and great sense of humor, (the life of the party) it was Peggy?s wish to have a celebration. Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend a Celebration of Life event, in memory and honor of Peggy, on July 9, at the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge at 39 Shadow Lake Road in Salem, NH, from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Food and beverage will be served. Bring your dancing shoes? Peggy loved life, and was always very generous and giving, always making donations to various Veteran?s groups and causes, hospitals and in general people in need. In lieu of flowers anyone wishing to make a donation to their favorite charity on her behalf is encouraged to do so. She will be smiling.
