Margaret Miner's Obituary
Margaret Miner, 93, a resident of Lawrence, MA for over 60 years, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover.
Born in Winchester, MA, Margaret was the daughter of the late James Edwin and Martha Mary (McAuliffe) Miner. She received her BS in Education and her Master’s Degree in Education from Salem State College. Margaret retired from the Beverly Public School System on July 31, 1986 after 34 years of teaching at Beverly High School. She was a past recreation leader for many years in the City of Lawrence and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, The Salem Teacher College Association and the St. Clare League of Catholic Women.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery also in Lawrence, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
