M. Sylvia (Golden) Wing's Obituary
M. Sylvia (Golden) Wing, R.N., a resident of Haverhill, MA, formerly of North Andover, MA, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover, MA. Born in Westbrook, Maine, Sylvia graduated from Westbrook High School and the Maine General School of Nursing in Portland. She had worked as a Private Duty Nurse and E.R. Supervisor at the Maine Medical Center. She later went on to work at several nursing homes in the Lawrence area retiring in 1980. Sylvia was the past president of the Lawrence Lady Lions Club as well as a member of the Women's City Club of Haverhill, MA. The widow of Richard A. Wing, Sylvia is survived by: a son: Richard J. Wing and his wife Sandra, and a daughter: Elizabeth McKinnon, as well as 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. There are no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet directly at St. Michael's Church, 196 Main St. North Andover, MA for the Funeral Mass on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
