Lyn Ann Riopelle's Obituary
Methuen, MA – Lyn Ann Riopelle, age 64, of Methuen passed away on April 16, following a lengthy illness. Ms. Riopelle, was born in Methuen, on October 29, 1957, the daughter of the late Gerard L. and Jacqueline (Valcourt) Riopelle-Slager.
Lyn formerly worked at Wang Labs and Walmart.
Lyn’s hobbies included knitting hats for various need-based charities, as well as baking breads and other items for all her friends. Her generosity knew no bounds. She always wanted to have a little something for everyone. Lyn was very active with the Lowell Association of the Blind and was a resident at Nevins Family of Services in Methuen.
Lyn is survived by brothers, Ronald and his wife, Nancy, of Salem, NH and Russell and his wife, Patricia of Cheshire, CT; sister, Dianne and her husband, Henry Theberge of Methuen, and sister-in-law Sandy Riopelle of Winter Garden, Florida. Lyn also leaves several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her brother Jerry Riopelle.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Nevins Family or Services staff for their wonderful care and kindness to Lyn and her family.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 23 at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lowell Association of the Blind, or Nevins Family of Services.
