Lucy (Khoury) Abbas, 87, a resident of Methuen, MA., passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Methuen, Lucy was educated in the Methuen Schools and was a graduate of Searles High School. S Read Obituary
We first met Lucy in 1987 at the happy occasion of the wedding of her son, Jimmy and our daughter, Ranu. And ever since we have been touched by her warmth and by her gentle nature.We will ever cherish the wonderful times we spent together. We pray that she be in peace wherever she is. Sarla, Padam
Dear Jimmy, Jayne, Annette and family, Your mother was such a warm and kindhearted person. I have many fond memories of our visits and time together with your family in Lawrence, Danbury, and Bridgeport/Fairfield. Please tell Jane and all the Abbas family I was sorry to hear of the death of Lucy. I also am sorry that I will be away and that I will not be able to go to the wake or funeral. I remember her fondly from St. Augustine's and her involvement in Religious Education. I am glad I saw her a few months ago at Holy Family Hospital. She and the family will be in my prayers during these days.
Lucy was a great friend to my grandmother and family. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking of and praying for you.
