Miss Loyola C. "Bubbie" Holihan, 91, a resident of Newburyport, MA., formerly of Andover, MA. passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. Born in Lawrence, MA., Miss Holihan attended the Lawrence Schools and then went on to graduate from Lesley College. She loved to play golf and was an avid Red Sox fan. Miss Holihan loved to summer at the beach. She had formerly attended St. Mary's Church in Lawrence. Miss Holihan is survived by: a cousin: Mrs. John S. (Ellennora) O'Brien of North Andover, MA. as well as her good friends: Roland and Lea LaPorte of Seabrook, N.H. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, also in Lawrence. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
