Dear Nancy, I remember your mother being one of the only women I knew who had a college education in the sciences, unheard of at the time, and so impressive! And she had the best after-school snacks, were brownies her signature sweet? Her life was full, she loved her children, she was smart, and way ahead of her time. Bill, Karen, Nancy and John I am unable to attend your mothers service, but it was important to me to tell you how very sorry I was to hear of her passing. She was a super whom I enjoyed knowing. Her outlook on life was so unique, and her political views were not to be denied. I loved her, her kind we will not know again. Take solace in the fact she is with the other great ladies of her time. My thoughts and prayers are with the Fleischmann family. As you surely know, your mother was an amazing lady that touched so many lives. I am certain she was thrilled to have you all so near recently as her love for all of you was clearly evident. Karin....I met your mother briefly, and just once when she was visiting you in Punta Gorda. In that short time however, it was apparent that she was, and especially at her age, a remarkable woman. Of all of her accomplishments, including a double major in college for challenging areas of study, one item of great accomplishment on her part was left out. She raised an exceptional daughter named Karin Reilly and made the world a better place because of that. My heart goes out to you....both you and Bill are in my prayers.... Erica
