Louanne C. (Godin) Pash's Obituary
Louanne C. Pash, formerly known as Louise Ann Godin, peacefully entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 23,2023 at the age of ninety-three. She passed at Mary Immaculate Nursing Center, where she’d lived for several years, while in hospice care.
Louanne’s journey began on April 20th, 1930, when she was born to Louis and Catherine Godin (nee Black) in the house her father built on Bay State Road in North Andover. She later grew up by Lake Cochichewick.
After completing high school, she embarked on a career as a medical transcriptionist and record keeper. She also ran a preschool for several years. In 1963, she exchanged vows with James J. Pash, MD, at St. Michael’s (North Andover) and together they made their home in Andover, MA, where they spent most of their lives.
Louanne was preceded in death by her brother Jonathon, sister Kateri, parents, and beloved husband, James. She is survived by her son, James J. Pashturro, his wife Gabriela, her cherished grandchildren, Rachael, Jules, and Luciana, her sister Dorothy, and nieces and nephew.
In gratitude for the media ministry of Bishop Robert Reed, Louanne requested that donations in her memory be directed to CatholicTV at PO Box 9196, 34 Chestnut Street, Watertown, MA 02471.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to her kind nurses, social workers, and conservator for their unwavering support and loving care during Louanne’s time at Mary Immaculate and especially through her hospice care.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 28th,2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, No. Andover, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated after the calling hour at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Michael Church, 196 Main Street, in No. Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover, MA.
