Leonel A. Trudel's Obituary
Leonel A. Trudel, age 83 died Friday, June 22, 2018 at Port Rehab in Newburyport, MA where he resided for the past 7 years.
He was born and grew up in Lawrence, MA. He attended and graduated from Lawrence High School. He was dedicated to going to St. Patrick's Church where he was a member.
In Leonel's younger days he worked at Leones Furniture Store and at Raytheon in the kitchen and maintenance. He always enjoyed walking to Cedar Crest daily to have coffee or lunch. He spent summers at Salisbury Beach every year with his sister Doris, even then he continued to walk to the 4D Resaurant to have coffee and pick up the Lawrence Eagle Tribune for his sister. They were very close. They took many trips together including Alaska and Hawaii. He had many albums of pictures of their trips which he enjoyed showing them to his wonderful nurses at Port Rehab. He was very well loved by all his caring nurses, they say he was their favorite. He also lit up when he saw his cousin Linda.
He was predeceased by his sister Doris Trudel, his brothers: Alcide & Robert Trudel and his parents Ernest and Eva.
Relatives and friends are respectively invited to the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 122 Amesbury St. Lawrence, MA. Visiting hour is 11:00AM to 12:00PM, Tuesday June 26, 2018 a funeral service will follow at 12:00PM at the funeral home. A burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemeteries and Chapel Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
