Laurette Beaudoin Gosselin's Obituary
Laurette Gosselin 96, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 at Merrimack Valley Hospice Care. She was born on September 1, 1923 in St. Ludger, Quebec, Canada to the late Alice and Davilla Beaudoin and predeceased by her husband Armand Gosselin and daughter Lisa.
Laurette was a member of St. Patrick's church and former Sacred Heart Church, where she was an active member of the third order of Mary and volunteered at many events. She enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother & great grandmother.
Laurette is survived by her 6 daughters: Claudette Medvecky and her husband John, of Lawrence MA, Diane and her partner Barbara Rowell of Plaistow, NH, Cecile Fahey and her husband Norman, of Newburyport MA, Gisele Khoury and her husband Scott, of Hampton NH, Linda, of Lawrence MA and Christine Vannett and her husband Alex, of Methuen MA and her four sons: Rick and husband Robb Johnson, of Cambridge MA, Denis and his wife, Fran, of Andover MA, Roger, of Amesbury MA and Bob and his wife, Stella, of Salem NH. Laurette was an adored Memere to 16 Grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and by her Brothers and sister from Quebec: Patrick and Julien Beaudoin and Jeanine Lefebvre.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Church in Lawrence. Her burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover.
