Julian Furcal Beriguete's Obituary
Julian Furcal Beriguete of Lawrence, MA passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Julian was born on June 19, 1935 in El Cercado, Dominican Republic and was the son of Concepción Beriguete and Jorge Furcal.
Julian lived to serve others and was always available for anyone in need. He spent summers in his garden growing corn, legumes, and other vegetables which he happily shared with all. One of his greatest joys was driving and you’d often find him teaching others to drive. Fearless on the road, he had no issue getting to new and unfamiliar places to get to those he loved.
Julian is survived by his daughter Kenia Furcal Oviedo and his granddaughters Kayla and Kaisy Rosario of Lawrence, MA ; his son Leonardo Furcal Oviedo and his granddaughters Marielis, Sally and Erika Furcal of Passaic, NJ. Julian is also survived by his siblings: Jorge, Bienvenida, Heriberta, Lucas, Exiquio, Román y Diógenes. He was preceded in death by siblings: Andrés Arístides, Armando, y Marina.
Funeral services for Julian will be held on Monday January 5, 2026 from 5pm - 8pm at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home 122 Amesbury Street Lawrence, MA 01841.
