Judith Mae Dimlich's Obituary
Judith Mae Dimlich, 74, a resident of Reading, Mass., died on Saturday, September 1 at Lahey Hospital, Burlington, Mass. Born in Lawrence on October 11, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred (Schruender) Dimlich; sister of Susan Bachrach (husband, Peter) of Washington, D.C., and of the late Murphy Hearl and David Dimlich. Judy was the loving aunt of Debbie, Dave, Suzie, Annie, and Ben, and great-aunt of Wyatt, Ryan, and Lance. She enjoyed a caring family of cousins and community of friends—neighbors, old classmates, fellow bridge players, traveling companions.
Judy graduated from Andover High School and the University of Massachusetts—Amherst. She was an English and Latin teacher, including at St. Augustine’s School in Andover. She later worked for many years in Roadway Company offices. She volunteered for the Holy Family Auxiliary in Methuen, Mass., and served many hours helping to manage her condominium association.
Visitation will be September 15 at 10 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m., at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, Mass.
