Juana Mejias' Obituary
Juana Mejias, 77, a resident of Lawrence, died on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico on June 23, 1942 to Ramon Cruz & Evangelia Alamo. She worked very hard raising her eight children as well as her 15 .grand children, 5 great grand children, 4 great great grand children and one great great great grand child, of whom she loved and adored.
She is the wife of the late Fermin Mejias, Sr. and is survived by her son Mitchel Mejias Sr. and his wife Rosita of Salem, NH, daughter; Petronila Rivera and her husband Angel of Lawrence, Maria Mejias of Lawrence, Gladys Pinero of Lawrence, Evelyn Mejias of Dracut, Sandra Mejias of Connecticut, Susan Mejias of Lawrence and Fermin Mejias, Jr. as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill St. Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence, MA.
