Juana Brigida Infante Lopez's Obituary
Mrs. Juana Brígida López Infante, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home. Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, to the late Juan Dionicio Infante and Juana Ruiz, she later made Lawrence her lifelong home.
A woman of deep faith, Juana was an active servant of Corpus Christi Parish, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her church community. She worked for three decades as a childcare educator, touching the lives of countless families with her compassion, patience, and quiet strength.
Together with her beloved husband of 57 years, Juan Noel López, Juana raised seven children. She was predeceased by her husband and her two sons, George and Joseph López, and is survived by her five loving daughters: Maria Jerez, Minerva Fernandez, Cristina Tavares, Carmen Lopez, and Jennifer Lopez. She leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and resilience.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, MA 01840.
Juana’s legacy lives on in the family she built, the faith she lived, and the countless people she generously served.
