Dear Patty, I want you to know that I have many fond memories of your dad. I remember him mostly in a brown suit and carrying a briefcase. Your parents welcomed me into their home,sometimes when you were not even there ! I remember a time specifically when I needed a ride home, after I had surgery on my foot, your dad dropped what ever he was doing and drove me to my house. Random acts of kindness that will never be forgotten. I am truly sorry not to be able to attend the Mass. I know how hard, sad, difficult ,and heart-wrenching this is to go through.
