i met Joe a number of years ago fishing below the dam in Lawrence for stripers. Over the years our paths would meet many times along the riverbanks. A group of us would gather almost every night during the fishing season and trade info and tell fish stories. He knew every inch of that river below the dam. Joe was a good man and will be sorely missed by all of us each year as we gather along the merrimack. He often spoke of his wife who he missed dearly. My sincere condolences to his family
