It's been 12 years since "Pepe's" death, and finding this page really brought me back to my memories with him. He'd always take his walks around the neighborhood and nap on the couch afterwards! On my last visit with him alongside my mother, his granddaughter, he sang "You are my Sunshine" to her and made her cry (then he teased her a little for crying)
Dear Aunt Dot ~ We are sharing in your loss at this sad time. I have so many heartfelt memories of Uncle Joe and the times he took me with him to the pigeon coops as a kid. I'll always remember the fun I had with my Uncle Joe. I'm so glad I got to see him recently at Diane & David's house at the family cookout. He will be missed by us all. We were so happy to have him at our family reunion this summer and it was nice to have that happy time visiting with family. I will always remember visiting the pigeons when I was small. We are saddened greatly by my uncle's passing but were happy that we shared a few hours together less than 2 weeks ago at a happier occasion. Our condolences to the family and we will be there at the funeral home to convey our sorrow at his passing. May we all remember the good times we shared over the years and the fond memories when our families were growing up together.
