John T. Haley, Sr.'s Obituary
John T. Haley, Sr. 76, a resident of Methuen, MA, died on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Lawrence General Hospital. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 23, 1935 to James A. & Marie (Nolet) Haley. He was educated in St. Augustine?s Grammar School and he was a graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1954, he also was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School to become an Electrician. He was a proud member of Local Unions 522 and 103 IBEW for 55 years. He served in the Massachusetts National Guard-Yankee Division. He also was member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4027 and a long time Parishioner of St. Monica Parish in Methuen. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia (O?Neill) Haley. He leaves his four sons, John T. Jr., Timothy J. and his wife Christine Haley, David and his wife Audrey Haley all of Methuen, and Andrew J. Haley of South West Harbor, Maine. Two sisters; Marilyn Haley and Maureen Haley both of Lawrence, and three brothers; Thomas Haley of Andover, Stephen Haley of Methuen, and Gerald Haley of North Andover. Five grand children Meghan, Ryan, Drew, Ethan Haley and Rosemarie and her husband Brendan Griffin, and one great grandchild Gavin Griffin, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother: James Haley. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:00AM in St. Monica Church in Methuen. A burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
