John Peter Stanisewski's Obituary
John P. Stanisewski, 71, a resident of Pelham, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
Born in Lawrence, MA, John was a graduate of both the Holy Trinity Grammar School and Lawrence High School. A Vietnam Veteran, John had served in the United States Marine Corps from June 29, 1967 to March 3, 1969. He received many commendations including the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnamese Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Rifle Marksman’s Badge. John had worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for Sweetheart Plastics and was a member of the Dewey Club. He loved to fish and hunt when he was physically able.
The son of the late Henry and Alice (Senior) Stanisewski, John is survived by his wife Deborah A. (Spires) Stanisewski, his children John Stanisewski and his wife Kelley of South Lawrence, MA, Debra Palavicini of North Andover, MA, and Ian F. Stanisewski of Pelham, NH. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Alexis, Cameron and Jack Stanisewski as well as Joseph, Mailli and William Palavicini, a sister Janice and her husband Phil Nezballa, a brother Paul Stanisewski and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Gibson Cemetery in Pelham, NH.
