John E. Killelea Jr.'s Obituary
John E. Killelea, Jr. 75, resident of North Andover died on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Born January 12, 1947, to Edward and Bernice (Flis) Killelea in Gardner, MA. Educated in Leominster, MA local schools. He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. During his career he was the Head Chef at Suffolk Law School, Massachusetts Electric in North Andover, and Analog Devices in Stoneham. For over 30 years he worked at the Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover as a Chef in the Grille Room until his retirement. John was affectionately known as Cowboy and will always be part of the IRCC family.
He was an avid fan of Boston sports. He loved music especially Cat Stevens, Crosby Stills and Nash. He also loved to dabble in the stock market.
He is survived by his children; James K. Killelea of North Andover, MA, and Meaghan and her husband Greg Ulicnik of Methuen, MA. Also predeceased by his son Sean M. Killelea. John also leaves his grandchildren; Kaileigh DelGiudice, Devon Bielecki, Jadyn & Macie Killelea, Caitlyn, Greg Jr., and Noah Ulicnik. Great grandchildren; Vincent & Owen DelGiudice, and several nieces and nephews.
The family wants to thank the staff at Bridges by Epoch in Andover for all their love and support while taking care of John over this past year. We will forever be thankful to you all.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11:30AM in St. Michael Church, 196 Main St. North Andover, MA. 01845. Burial services will follow in West Parish Garden Cemetery, 129 Reservation Rd. Andover, MA.
