Mr. John E. (Jack) Wheeler, Jr., died Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital after a short illness. A lifelong resident of Lawrence, Mr. Wheeler was born on November 4, 1925 the son of the late J. Edward and M Read Obituary
I'm very sorry for your loss Mrs. Wheeler. Although we didn't know each other, I worked with Jack at Mass Electric for many years. I returned back east this past April to bury my Mom, and was pleased to see Jack drop by the funeral home. He was always such a pleasure to work with; a good man who never had a harsh word for anyone. I think of his days w/ the company doing "mark out" work, where he earned the name "Mr. Pink Boots". Jack will be deeply missed.
Theresa and Mary, You are in my thoughts and especially my prayers during these days. I look forward to seeing you and getting together soon after my return to the states. Jack was certainly a special person and a true gift to this world. He will be missed. God Bless.
Dear Theresa & Mary, We were very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Ron remembers all the great volleyball games he had with Jack at St. Augustine's and I remember what a kind and gentle man he was. Mary & Mrs. Wheeler~ Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss! Mr. Wheeler was a kind and gentle man. He always had a nice way about him, and wonderful things to say to me. Although I haven't seen him in a while, I'm sure his ways were just the same. Mry, I know you were very close to your dad. Know that God will cradle him in a gentle way because he lived a good life.
