John William Duckworth, Sr., 93, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence, MA.
He was born May 15th, 1925 in Lawrence, MA., son of the late William Henry and Mary Ann (LeMire) Duckworth. John was educated in the local schools and was a 1942 graduate of Lawrence High School, he later served in the United States Army. He worked as an Electronic Technician for Western Electric in North Andover, MA.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home and burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
