August 28th 2014 Dear Jane and LaRue family: I was saddened by the passing away of your father John. I was lucky to have met him. He was part of that generation of men who were great men at so many things, as parents, husbands, patriots, and professionals. He made you smart, kind, loving and resilient. You are such an extraordinary woman. You are proof of how wonderful your parents were. He may not be physically present but his spirit, his teachings, advice and the memories that you have of him, will be with you forever. My heart and thoughts go to you at this difficult moment.
