To Jane and John's family - my Dad (Elmer Smith) and our family became friends with John this fall at Prescott House. We were so sorry to hear of his passing, and thank Jane for calling - we did not see the obituary in the paper. We truly enjoyed talking with him, especially about his fascinating experiences aboard the submarine during WW II. He seemed to bring his own special style to everything - he finally got the Prescott House staff used to providing his special coffee/hot chocolate concoction! We will miss him.
