My condolences to the Underwood family. Joan was a wonderful friend and fellow parishioner at St. Patrick Parish. She loved her family, her faith, and her friends. I am sure she will be missed. My mom (Irene) enjoyed working with her at the office at the Kane School and had many fond memories with Joan.

Many, many years ago Melissa introduced me to her Nana, aka Joan. She just didn't look like a "Joan" to me so I asked if it was okay if I called her Nana, so Nana it was!!! ❤️ I used to run into her when she would go to vote or in the supermarket and it was always such a treat to take a few moments to catch up. I've missed seeing her smile since she moved to the nursing home but I'm glad to know that she was well taken care of. She was a wonderful, warm, welcoming woman that loved her family immensely and she will certainly be missed by all. May she rest in peace...
