I would like to extend my deppest sympathy to the family of Joan Viel on her recent passing. She and I were second cousins, and my late mother was particular fond of her. She was a lovely lady. I work at MI Nursing, and it was a pleasure to see here often during her final weeks there and to see how courageously she bore up under her afflictions. Nay she rest in peace!
I am so sorry for the loss of Joan. She was one of those people who always said a few kind words as she walked down Olive Ave passed my house from her home to mass at St. Augustines. She was always very kind to me in my youth as I grew up on Olive Ave. I know she is at peace now. Again my condolences.
I was a coworker of Joan's at the Wall Experiment Station. I fondly remember that she was very grateful to recieve pictures of my two sons, when they were very young and posted them on a bulletin board in her office.
