Joan E. Burns, 80, formerly of Methuen passed away on March 10, 2022, at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Petraitis) Burns. Ms. Burns attend Read Obituary
I am so sorry to hear this. Joanie kept in touch with us until a few years ago. We are related through my Dad's Mom, Nora Burns Johnson. She and my Dad were good buddies growing up and even after he died she would call and check on us. Incredible sense of humor and we miss her very much. Sending love and condolences to all who love her.
Joan I’ll always remember your humor and how you always made me laugh our years at Parlex were special as were you. Heaven gained an angel.

I am so sorry for your loss. Joan and I worked together for many years at Parlex. She made it her goal to make me laugh every day even if I was upset about something she would keep trying funny faces until I started to laugh.
