Amesbury, MA - Jill Grimley , formerly of Vermont, passed away on December 17th, 2025. Jill was the daughter of Joan and Ronald Bromley. She spent her childhood in Vermont, where she developed a love for cooking and a strong sense of community.
Jill's passion for cooking led her on a journey around the country, where she competed in culinary competitions and honed her skills as a chef. She eventually became the head chef at Merrimack College, where she shared her love of food with students and colleagues alike. Jill's creativity and talent in the kitchen were unmatched, and she brought joy to countless people through her delicious creations.
Jill was married to Michael Grimley for 18 years, during which they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
Above all else, Jill was a devoted mother to her son, Tyler Twomey, with whom she shared a very close bond. He was the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with him and took great pride in watching him grow into the man he is today.
Jill's love and support will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son Tyler Twomey of Dracut, MA , her husband Michael Grimley, her parents Joan and Ronald Bromley, her siblings Ronald Bromley and Kelly Mitchell, and her cousin Amy Patnode of St Albans, VT, who she shared a special bond with and many other friends and family members. Jill's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
