James Andrew Wilson's Obituary
James A. Wilson, “Jim or Jamie”, 65, formerly of Lawrence passed away Tuesday, June 25th, 2019.
Jim was born June 20th, 1954 in Methuen, Massachusetts to the late Robert G. and Marguerite (Landry) Wilson. He worked for Stride Rite Footwear before going to work at Andrew Wilson Steel and Managing Quik Stop Markets in Methuen.
Jim was an avid New England Sports fan, but mostly enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins.
He loved having special visits from his granddaughter, Madison and spending time with family and friends. Jim enjoyed playing 45’s and poker games on his computer and going to the Beach.
Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years Marie-Claire (Claire) (Lebel) Wilson, his son James R. Wilson, his daughter Lisa and husband Colin Jameson, Very Special Granddaughter Madison Jameson, his niece, thought of as daughter Penny Thomas. His brother Garnet (Kookie) Wilson. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws and beloved friends that will deeply miss him.
Brother of the late Devena R. LeFave, Isabella Stuart, Rosary Papatola, Robert Wilson and Gregory Wilson.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 1st, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His funeral service will take place immediately following the wake at 6:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and held at a later date.
